Luka DoncicPG-SF, Dallas MavericksMavs coach Rick Carlisle shared that he is "hopeful" that Luka Doncic (right ankle sprain) returns on Wednesday.
Carlisle also said that he expects Doncic to draw either a "questionable" or "probable" tag, which at this point makes it sound like a mere formality that he'll play. It's strange that the Mavs want Doncic to get one game in before the All-Star break, but fantasy managers aren't complaining. Luka Doncic had been fading before his most recent ankle injury as his percentages gradually regressed to his rookie-year averages, but feel free treat him as a buy-low candidate still. He won't be for very long.
