Shams Charania is hearing that the Knicks have inquired about an Andre Drummond trade.

The Pistons are reportedly asking for one or two first-round picks or young players for Drummond, who has made it known that he's likely to opt out and seek a max contract this summer. New York owns seven draft picks (three firsts) in the next two years but aren't looking to unload necessarily. Detroit is predictably against taking on future salary commitments, so the Knicks would likely have to change their tune on those picks. A move to New York wouldn't really affect Drummond's fantasy value, but it would really damage Mitchell Robinson's outlook. It's becoming increasingly likely that Drummond is sporting a new uniform to close the season.
