Alec BurksSG, Philadelphia SixersAlec Burks has agreed to a one-year, $6 million deal with the Knicks, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports (via Twitter).
Burks has been a serviceable backup guard during his career, and will simply fill space for the Knicks with the new regime. That being said, the Knicks do need some shooting help (they need help everywhere, really) and Burks can provide that. He shot 3-pointers at a 37.7% clip over the past two seasons, splitting time between the Kings, Warriors and Sixers. His bread-and-butter are corner threes, a shot he knocked down 47.5% of the time in 59 attempts in 2019-20.
