• Reggie Perry
    C, Brooklyn Nets

According to a team press release, the Nets have agreed to a deal with rookie forward Reggie Perry, the No. 57 overall selection in the draft earlier this month.

Perry, who was selected by the Clippers but moved to the Nets in the Luke Kennard/Landry Shamet trade on draft night, suited up for Mississippi State for the past two seasons in college. Whether it's a standard NBA deal or a two-way contract is not specified by the team, which is arguably the most important bit of information needed for a second-rounder of this stature. Perry is tenacious down low and averaged a double-double during his sophomore season last year. He posted 17 PPG and 10 RPG in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), which is a very solid basketball conference with some perennial powerhouses, although Mississippi State would not qualify in that department.
