• Trey Burke
    PG, Dallas Mavericks

Mavs coach Rick Carlisle said on Monday night that he expects guard Trey Burke, who joined the Mavericks in the bubble just a few days ago and put in his first full practice yesterday, to play against the Sixers on Tuesday.

“Burke’s going to play unless he has some type of an issue coming off today’s practice,” Carlisle said. “He was doing a lot of working out right before we signed him. He’s in really good shape. He came in the other day off of quarantine and he looked like he was ready to go then.” Carlisle rarely speaks so highly of his guys so this is very encouraging to hear. The veteran guard will get another chance with an NBA team, and with Jalen Brunson our for the year, there will be minutes available for him.
