Tom Thibodeau is the front runner to become the next coach of the Knicks, according to Jonathan Macri of SI.com.
In seven full seasons as coach with Chicago and Minnesota, Thibodeau has compiled a 352-246 record, while he has missed the playoffs just once, his first season with the Wolves. His serious demeanor and no-nonsense approach have earned him respect among team executives and stars like Jimmy Butler, but he has struggled to earn the trust of young and upcoming players. Leon Rose is also nearing his starting date as the team's president of basketball operations in what seems to be a busy offseason for the Knicks.
