Marc Stein is reporting that the Lakers have interest in Wesley Matthews as a replacement for Danny Green, who appears headed to the Thunder in a trade.
The Lakers had to deal with one of Green's worst shooting seasons (his .367 mark from deep was the third-lowest in his career, while he shot just .339 in the playoffs) last year, though it's worth pointing out that he was better than Matthews on both ends of the floor by both offensive and defensive win shares and box plus/minus. 3-and-D wings are en vogue these days and anyone who vaguely fits that profile is likely to be sought after. Matthews, never quite the same after his brutal Achilles injury in early 2015, is unlikely to be of interest to fantasy GMs regardless of where he plays.
