The Knicks have no plans to trade Marcus Morris, according to Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports.
The Knicks will almost certainly get offers on their leading scorer, but he's a respected player in a young locker room and reportedly likes New York. The team may plan on keeping Morris long term, and with a chest full of first-rounders in the coming years anyway, adding another late-first to the pile may not be worth dealing him away. While staying with the Knicks is the best for Morris' fantasy value, it also dramatically increases the odds that he sits out games down the stretch. We'll see if this is a real window into the Knicks' thought process or just some talk to boost leverage.
