Kobe Bryant
SG, Los Angeles Lakers
Kobe Bryant passed away in a helicopter accident in Calabasas, California on Sunday morning, along with his daughter Gianna and eight other people who were on board.
TMZ broke the report, which has since been independently confirmed by other media outlets. Bryant's helicopter suffered mechanical failure leading to a fire and a crash in the Calabasas hillside. There are no survivors. We at Hoop-Ball, as well as the entire basketball community, send our deepest sympathies to the Bryant family during this trying time.
