Khyri ThomasSG, Detroit PistonsKhyri Thomas benefited from the Pistons’ group workouts during the last three weeks, giving the team an opportunity to showcase his game.
“I thought Khyri Thomas had a great week,” Casey said. “He shot the ball extremely well and I was happy that finally the young man is healthy, really proud of the way Khyri came out and played.” The timing could absolutely work in his favor since his contract is only partially guaranteed next season. The biggest key for Thomas though is staying healthy, since he had injury woes since his NBA career began. The Pistons are desperate for more shooting and if the young man makes it past training camp he could be an interesting deep-league option for a franchise that is putting an emphasis on the growth of their players.
