Alex CarusoSG, Los Angeles LakersAlex Caruso (sore right wrist) was active in Saturday's win over the Nuggets, leading all Laker reserves with 26 minutes, 11 points (5-of-7 shooting), two rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block.
Caruso has long been touted as an underrated defender and he brought his bag of intangibles with him to work tonight. His heavy minutes is a good sign that his wrist injury might not be a lingering concern. While the Lakers lean heavily on both LeBron James and Anthony Davis, it's key role-players like Caruso and Danny Green (11 points, two 3s, two assists, two blocks) who round out one of the league's most potent defenses in the playoff bubble.
