Week 8 TNF Fantasy Preview

    QB

Lamar Jackson:  Jackson has slowed down a bit since the start of the season. The past four weeks have seen him have his four worst passer ratings of the year. Although he’s slowed down in the passing game, his rushing presence is still felt. He’s rushed for 58 or more yards in each of those four games, which seems like his floor. So far, Tampa Bay has allowed the 14th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, but they haven’t faced someone with the rushing ability of Lamar. He is too good to continue this cold streak, and even if he does, his rushing floor gives him top-5 upside every week. Jackson is a must-start this week.

With JK Dobbins out with injury, the Ravens backfield is a mess. Two weeks ago, Kenyan Drake exploded with his best game of the year, yet he only had 0.5 fantasy points last week. While Drake struggled, Gus Edwards picked up the slack with 18.6 fantasy points. Justice Hill has also been given touches, making this backfield borderline untouchable in fantasy. If you have to start one, it would be Edwards, but it would be smart for fantasy owners to avoid this backfield until we see consistent production from one of these backs.
