    Pickups of the Week

    Gus Edwards (RB) – Ravens

Edwards finally suited up for his first game of the season and led the backfield on Sunday.  He played a low number of snaps (23) but was still able to be incredibly efficient.  The Gus Bus rushed for 66 yards on 16 attempts, scoring twice.  On the other hand, after a huge Week 6 performance, Drake was remarkably awful, rushing for five yards on 11 attempts. Justice Hill was involved early, but he lost a fumble and that led to him becoming uninvolved in quick fashion. The Ravens have ramped up the running game and with J.K. Dobbins on IR, Edwards should be a worthy starter in all formats for the foreseeable future.

D’Onta Foreman & Chuba Hubbard (RB) – Panthers

Hubbard exited Sunday’s game with an injury, after being named the starter for the contest, but it was Foreman that was superior of the two backs.  The Bucs have one of the best defenses against the run, but Foreman was still able to carve them to the tune of 118 yards on 15 attempts.  Hubbard did find the end zone before exiting, adding 63 yards on nine attempts. If Hubbard misses time, Foreman becomes a reasonably strong RB2 play, but there is a high likelihood of this being a timeshare, assuming both backs are healthy.  Foreman is the more talented of the two backs, so the priority is to add him by spending slightly more FAAB.
