Every day we’re closer to discovering the NBA cup champion. And today the NBA has gifted us with a Hawks @ Knicks clash (O/U set at 237) and a Warriors @ Rockets showdown (O/U set at 223.5). The Hawks vs. Knicks game poses an interesting problem – the Hawks rank 3rd in pace while the Knicks rank 26th. With a 237 O/U, DK seems to be suggesting that the Knicks will play at the Hawks pace, hence the higher scoring. Or are they? The Knicks have been extremely efficient, ranking 2nd in ts% and 7th in tov%, and this could justify the high O/U. If they do in fact play up to the Hawks pace, we could be in for some great fantasy games. High pace and high eficiency are every manager’s dream! Now, onto the Warriors vs. Houston game. Houston ranks 1st in reb% and GSW ranks 7%. And both are top 3 in opponent fg%. But GSW also allows the 4th most rebounds to opposing teams. So what’s going on here? Well, the Warriors attempt the 4th most 3s and are bottom 10 in fg%, allowing more defensive rebounds than what the former stats suggest due to a lesser effiency. All this to say that the Warriors –  Rockets center matchup is amazing today! Oh, and as we’re talking rebounds, let’s not forget about Tari Eason. Let’s get right to the players we’re targeting!
