Everyday is a beautiful day to have a eleven game slate. But today is Wednesday, the slate is split into two (with two later games) and do you know what’s even better? We’ve got a Knicks vs. 76ers matchup in Philly! Both Karl-Anthony Towns and Joel Embiid are questionable, and their presence will heavily influence this battle that has a 219 O/U. The Hawks and Bulls are facing each other in what should be a high paced points fest – both teams are playing on the second half of a back-to-back, rank top-3 in pace and the O/U is set at 244.5! Oh, and what about Nikola Jokic vs. Baby Jokic? The Rockets are facing the Nuggets in Denver and Jokic is looking to keep his cool 32/17/10 averages in his last four games against Alperen Sengun. Let’s get right into it!

Zach Lavine
Salary: $8,600
Position: SG/SF
The Hawks are top-5 in points, threes and fg% allowed to opposing SFs. They’re also top-3 in pace and allow the most threes to opposing teams. There’s no novelty here, the Hawks have been very friendly to opposing perimeter players – well… except whoever is being guarded by Dyson Daniels. Anyway, the fantasy friendly stats have regularly been there and guess what? Zach Lavine takes a TON of shots. Lavine shot the ball 20+ times in his previous seven games and on the last six games is averaging 51.2 fpts on 56/51/81 shooting splits. In mathematic terms, this should very simply translate to:
20-something shots taken + league leading threes allowed + high paced game + red hot shooting splits = fantasy points.
And isn’t that all we want?
