• It’s Tuesday and we’ve got a four game slate with three elimination games! We all love the playoffs, so let’s get into today’s exciting slate. First of, we’ve got the Bucks @ Pacers (-7.5) matchup with an O/U of 222 playing after the Damian Lillard unfortunate injury. But let’s not forget this is an elimination game, and Giannis Antetokounmpo has put up some unbelievable performances in situations like this – 38/20/3, 25/20/9, 40/13/5 and 30/17/3 are his points/rebounds/assists stat-lines over his last four elimination matchups! Following that game, we’ve got the Pistons @ Knicks (-5.5) matchup with a 213.5 O/U and the Pistons against the ropes, who will need some positive three-point regression to claw back in the series. We’ve got the Magic @ Celtics (-11.5) with a 196 O/U, Jrue Holiday ruled out and Jaylen Brown questionable and lastly we’ve got the great Clippers (-1.5) @ Nuggets game, with a 208.5 O/U and greatness all-around, with Nikola Jokic’s historic performances (he’s yet to dip below 60 fpts this series!) and Kawhi Leonard looking like his Finals MVP-self. Let’s get started!

    Giannis Antetokounmpo

    Position: PF/C

    Salary: $11,300

Both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic ($11,500) have astronomically high price-tags today, but they’ve been playing like must have fantasy players. So why give the edge to Giannis, despite him clearing the 60 fpts mark “just” twice? Because his past elimination games have been all-time great performances, and without Damian Lillard in the mix, his usage can soar above every number we’ve seen thus far. In the first game of the series, without Lillard, Giannis posted a 41.1% usage rate, and in the other three games it stood between 31% and 38%. For comparison, Jokic’s usage rate against the Clippers has never surpassed the 31% mark, meaning that Giannis’ lowest usage rate game was higher than Jokic’s highest one. That alone isn’t indicative of fantasy production, but Giannis’ elimination games resume speaks for itself and he’s been playing 36 mpg in the series, a number that could be extended in a win-or-go-home scenario if the game is close.
