It’s the last slate before the All-Star Break! We have a great five game slate to open our appetites for the weekend’s big event – LiAngelo Ball performing performing Tweaker on Saturday night! But onto the games. The biggest O/U, and only one over 230 points, belongs to the Kings @ Pelicans game, standing at 235.5. We’ve also got the Mavericks with O-Max Prosper playing center minutes due to an injury report that contains seven players, Isaiah Collier and James Harden playing in an assist battle and the new-look Warriors playing the injury-riddled Rockets! Oh, and let’s not forget that every team playing today is on a back-to-back! Let’s get started!

Over the last ten games, the Pelicans are allowing 16.7 3pm, 42.6 3pa and 39.2 3pt% to opposing teams, ranking 1st, 1st and 3rd, respectively. In their matchup yesterday, the Kings shot 16/45 from three, and it wouldn’t be surprising if they surpass that mark on today’s back-to-back – tired legs are the worst enemy of chasing around 3-point shooters. Keon Ellis ($4,400) went nuclear yesterday, going for 27 points on 7/11 from three, and he still presents himself as a nice option for today, as do all Kings shooters. But back to Zach LaVine, he posssess the biggest usage on the Kings over the last five games, 24.3%, and he also attempted the most threes, at 6.8. He’s still to go over 40 fpts as a King, but his best game came against the Pelicans, despite him shooting only 14 times on 36% from the field. LaVine is due for a big game as he has been the main offensive piece of the Kings since the deadline, and the Pelicans have all the good indicators to allow that.
