Fantasy Football 2025 Week 13 Recap & Predictions | Mostradamus Review

  • Every week I will do a quick drive thru of the all the games and cover the relevant fantasy points.  I will look at things that might be fluky or here to stay and try and point everyone in the right direction for the future.  We never want to overreact to a small-sample size, but sometimes getting in too early is still better than missing the boat entirely.

    Packers 31 – Lions 24

Jordan Love delivered a strong Thanksgiving performance with 234 yards and four passing touchdowns against the Lions, which was twice as many as he had thrown in the last four games combined.  Hopefully, the GB offense opens up after this big win because the Packers can’t rely on Josh Jacobs and the defense.  Josh Jacobs led the Packers’ backfield with 91 total yards on 18 touches against the Lions. He has rushed for 70 or more yards in five of his last eight games.  Emanuel Wilson had his best game a week ago, but it’s Jacobs’ backfield until he gets hurt.  Wilson is an elite stash though.  Dontayvion Wicks exploded for a season-best 94 yards and two touchdowns on six catches and until Jayden Reed returns, Wicks has some value if GB is airing it out.  Christian Watson posted 80 yards and a long touchdown while catching four of 10 targets and while efficiency will never be his calling card, he only needs one big catch to give him a solid fantasy line.  With the Bears up next, everyone is on the table for GB as the Bears defense hasn’t stopped anyone this season.  Jared Goff delivered an efficient Week 13 outing despite losing Amon-Ra St. Brown early to an ankle injury. He completed 20 of 26 passes for 256 yards, two touchdowns and that is exactly what Goff does at a floor every week.  He might be the most reliable fantasy QB we have.  Jahmyr Gibbs turned 23 touches into 86 scrimmage yards, which was a far cry from his fantasy-best performance a week ago.  This was to be expected as GB focused their entire defense on stopping Gibbs and that won’t happen vs. DAL next week.  David Montgomery logged 48 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 10 touches, finding the end zone which probably didn’t matter.  He’s back a flex position next week vs. DAL, who isn’t bad defending the run right now.  Jameson Williams erupted for 144 yards and a touchdown on seven catches and 10 targets and as long as St. Brown is out, Williams is a top-10 play, maybe top-five next week.  Isaac TeSlaa turned two targets into 35 yards and a touchdown and he’s a TD monster who is getting a massive promotion this week.  TeSlaa is borderline must-pickup and start as long as St. Brown is sidelined.

Pickup of the game: WR – Isaac TeSlaa – Priority High

    Cowboys 31 – Chiefs – 28

This game shows how crazy the NFL is.  The Chiefs looked poised in the summer to roll to another Super Bowl and now might miss playoffs and the Cowboys were the laughingstock of the league and they now seem like a complete team of destiny.  Dak Prescott carved up the Chiefs for 320 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception on 27 of 39 passing and he’s not only in the MVP conversation, but also the fantasy QB1 position as he’s got the best or second best WR duo in football.  George Pickens turned 13 targets into six catches for 88 yards and he has made one of the biggest leaps and is line for the best fantasy draft pick of the season.  It won’t stop next week vs. DET, whose defense is hanging on life support.  CeeDee Lamb led the Dallas pass-catchers with seven receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown on nine targets and he was a lock to go off after some bad drops vs. PHI.  Javonte Williams handled 20 touches, turning 17 carries and three catches into 80 total yards and a receiving score.  This was the best game he had in a while and hopefully he can finish the season with similar momentum than he started with.  DAL might be more explosive than CIN last year which is nearly impossible. Patrick Mahomes sliced up Dallas with 261 passing yards and four touchdowns plus 30 rushing yards which was great despite not getting the win.  The Chiefs need to win out to keep their season alive, so look for Mahomes to play like this down the stretch.  Rashee Rice stayed hot with eight catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns on 12 targets and you could make argument he’s the best WR fantasy because his floor is locked down every game.  Travis Kelce found the end zone again, turning six targets into five catches, 45 yards, and a score and he just keeps churning out elite performances after everyone else has written him off.

Pickup of the game – None

    Bengals 32 – Ravens 14

Joe Burrow returned and completed 24 of 46 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns.  Burrow looked great after a slow start and without Tee Higgins, this was a shocking upset.  Ja’Marr Chase made an immediate impact in his return, turning 14 targets into seven catches for 110 yards and he could be unstoppable down the stretch.  Look for one of those 200 yard, three TD games coming soon.  Chase Brown delivered again, posting 78 rushing yards on 15 carries and 35 receiving yards on seven catches.  His season has gone from unplayable to stud and with Burrow back, he’s an RB1 again with a great matchup vs. BUF up next.  As long as Burrow keeps playing, the CIN offense could define the fantasy playoffs.  Lamar Jackson struggled again, throwing for 246 yards with one interception and adding just 27 rushing yards.  The BAL offense has disappeared and it’s clear Jackson isn’t the same player right now.  He can’t run, throw or hold onto the ball.  You almost can’t start him in fantasy, but with a division rival in PIT up and a must-win scenario, you have to hope Jackson figures it out soon.  Derrick Henry stayed efficient in a tough loss, turning 10 carries into 60 rushing yards and a touchdown. He also added a 44-yard reception, but the 10 carries vs. the worst rush defense in the league is unacceptable.  Zay Flowers turned seven targets into just two catches for six yards and it’s hard to know what to do with anyone on BAL.  Isaiah Likely led the team with six targets, catching five passes for 95 yards in the loss and he might be the only hope.  I’ve said all season Likely is going to be a monster this season and hopefully the time is now.

Pickup of the game – TE– Isaiah Likely – Priority Med

    Bears 24 – Eagles 15

Caleb Williams struggled in Week 13, completing 17 of 36 passes for 154 yards, one touchdown, and one interception and while this was coming with the way the PHI pass defense played vs. DAL, no one saw the run defense completely abandoning them.  D’Andre Swift shredded the Eagles on Black Friday, rushing 18 times for 125 yards and a touchdown and adding a 13-yard catch while Kyle Monangai impressed with 22 carries for 130 yards and a score.  This was one of the most dominant duo rushing performances of the season and while CHI would love to play this way, it won’t be possible with their schedule.  Rome Odunze caught just two of six targets for eight yards in the Week 13 win over Philadelphia. He has now been held under 60 receiving yards in four of his last five games and I don’t blame you for sitting him.  I benched or traded him in multiple leagues because the schedule gets really dark now.  Jalen Hurts turned in another uneven outing against Chicago, completing 19 of 34 passes for 230 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while adding 31 rushing yards and a lost fumble.  PHI is broken right now and while the talent is undeniable, something isn’t clicking and it starts with Saquon Barkley.  This was a great matchup, but Barkley’s struggles continued against Chicago, as he turned 13 carries into 56 yards and failed to catch either of his two targets.  You simply can’t play Barkley right now if you want to be competitive.  It’s not all dark as AJ Brown was the lone bright spot, scorching Chicago and turning 12 targets into 10 catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns.  He’s as volatile as it comes, but the boom is worth it.  It’s not really viable for Brown and DeVonta Smith to go off in this offense,  as Smith posted five receptions for 48 yards on eight targets.

Pickup of the game – RB – Kyle Monangai  – Priority Med

    Niners 26 – Browns 8

Shedeur Sanders completed 16 of 25 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown which is fine I guess, he’s not on the radar in any format.  Maybe, you play him vs. TEN this week in Super Flex leagues if you’re truly desperate.  Quinshon Judkins carried 23 times for 91 yards and caught all three of his targets for 18 yards in the loss to the 49ers, but no scores as this offense only visits the red zone in a blue moon.  Judkins is the real deal, but he needs help.  I wouldn’t play or even roster anyone on CLE except for Judkins.  The Niners are rolling right now as this was the worst matchup they will face all season.  Brock Purdy managed 16 completions on 29 attempts for 168 yards and a passing touchdown and while he was better than a week ago, there wasn’t much he could do vs. this secondary.  Christian McCaffrey carried 20 times for 53 yards and a touchdown, while catching all four of his targets for 21 yards and this is fine knowing this is the floor for and won’t happen again this season.  Jauan Jennings caught four of six targets for 39 yards and a touchdown and he’s the clear WR1 with Ricky Pearsall continuing his disappearing act.  George Kittle led the 49ers in receiving in Week 13 with four receptions for 67 yards and hopefully he is the focal point after the bye vs. TEN in the fantasy playoffs.  As bad as everything looked in this one, it will be the opposite two weeks from now.

Pickup of the game – None

    Jaguars 25 – Titans 3

Trevor Lawrence threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions, adding 25 rushing yards as his up-and-down season continues.  Brian Thomas Jr. returned, but his nightmare season continues as he caught two of three targets for 28 yards.  Lawrence has as many quality weapons as any QB in the league, which is great for him and not so great for the weapons.  Jakobi Meyers hauled in all six targets for 90 yards and a touchdown and he might be the new number-one WR in town.  Brenton Strange caught three of four targets for 45 yards and a 21-yard touchdown and he’s close to must start if you don’t have any of the big four TEs.  Travis Etienne managed 12 carries for 28 yards and one catch for 13 yards and while he’s been a league-swinger this season, he’s still not that great and lost a TD to Bhayshul Tuten.  The Titans are in the running for most inept offense in the NFL.  Cam Ward struggled in Week 13, completing 24 of 38 passes for only 141 yards after turning out his best game of the season a week ago.  With CLE up next, you can’t start anyone on TEN under any circumstances this week.  Tony Pollard led the Titans’ backfield with 10 carries for 60 yards and one catch for three yards and he’s at best, a desperation flex play with no upside vs. CLE.

Pickup of the game – TE – Brenton Strange – Priority Med
