Every week I will do a quick drive thru of the all the games and cover the relevant fantasy points. I will look at things that might be fluky or here to stay and try and point everyone in the right direction for the future. We never want to overreact to a small-sample size, but sometimes getting in too early is still better than missing the boat entirely.
Broncos 10 – Raiders 7
This game was a fantasy wasteland and no one really stood out. Bo Nix completed 16 of 28 passes for 150 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Troy Franklin has appeared to have made the leap as he led the team in targets with nine, receptions with five and scored the only TD for DEN. J.K. Dobbins briefly left Thursday’s win after a foot injury but later returned, finishing with 77 yards on 18 carries. He left the game briefly, but should be fine considering the Broncos get a few extra days rest before Week 11. RJ Harvey had a quiet game in Thursday’s win, rushing four times for nine yards and catching two passes for nine yards. He continues to be TD or bust, but was due for a bust week after scoring multiple weeks in a row. Courtland Sutton had an underwhelming performance on Thursday, catching 3 of 4 targets for just 24 yards and he’s taking a backset to Franklin and even Evan Engram who saw five targets. This game was a one-off though, but it is telling how poor DEN could move the ball vs. a terrible defense like the Raiders. I expected Vegas to struggle scoring points vs. an elite defense and DEN didn’t disappoint. They had barely 200 yards of total offense and Geno Smith looked awful and left the game briefly. After throwing four TDs a week ago, he threw for none and had an INT. That means Brock Bowers also had a letdown with only one reception on three targets. Tyler Lockett was the lead WR on the day and that is never a good sign. Ashton Jeanty wasn’t terrible at least, rushing 19 times for 60 yards and a touchdown while catching three of five targets for three yards. With DAL up next, everyone on Vegas goes from a can’t start to a must-start.
Pickup of the game: WR – Tyler Lockett – Priority Low
Colts 31 – Falcons – 25
Stop me if you’ve heard this before, Jonathan Taylor was the best fantasy player this week. Taylor exploded for 244 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries, adding 42 receiving yards on three catches. He’s the best player in fantasy this season and it’s not close. If he keeps this up in the fantasy playoffs, it might not matter who is on the rest of the team. Daniel Jones completed 19 of 26 passes for 255 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while adding 53 rushing yards. This made up for his terrible game last week as this might be the toughest matchup he faces all season. Jones is right there on the MVP track, but he is still the second-best player on his own team. Michael Pittman Jr. caught two of two targets for 19 yards which is about par for the course vs. ATL. Alec Pierce caught four of seven targets for 84 yards and a touchdown this week as Josh Downs did nothing. This is the problem with having multiple weapons. The offense can have a great week, but your players do next to nothing. At least that wasn’t the case with Tyler Warren, the rookie TE phenom led the Colts with eight catches on 10 targets for 99 yards and is battling for the TE1 status this season. The Falcons continue to be messy outside of ATL. Micheal Penix Jr. is the new Jared Goff, he completed 12 of 28 passes for 177 yards and one touchdown. At least he was funneling targets to Drake London. London hauled in six of eight targets for 104 yards and a touchdown and is back to being a top-five WR every week. Everyone else on the team is toast, but unfortunately Bijan Robinson was a casualty as well, rushing 17 times for 84 yards and catching two passes for four yards. Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts are nowhere to be seen and this offense isn’t what I thought it would be, but at least they have revenge spot vs. CAR next week.
Pickup of the game – WR – Alec Pierce – Priority Low

Bears 24 – Giants 20
Jaxson Dart was well on his way to having the best game of his life before a concussion knock him out and likely out of next week as well. He finished the game 19-of-29 for 242 passing yards, two rushing touchdowns and 66 rushing yards. He’s absolute fantasy superstar in his rookie season with two of his best weapons out for the year. Tyrone Tracy rushed 14 times for 71 yards and caught one of two targets, out carrying Devin Singletary 14-8. Tracy is the clear RB to roster and play the rest of the season and Singletary isn’t really worth a roster spot. Darius Slayton caught all four of his targets for 89 yards and he loves going off in the right spot when the Giants are down WRs. You can’t trust him week-to-week though. Wan’Dale Robinson caught six of 11 targets for 62 yards this week. He led the team in targets in Week 10 and he’s close a must-start especially in PPR leagues, but if Russell Wilson is starting next week, everything is up for negotiation. Theo Johnson caught seven of eight targets for 75 yards Sunday. Setting career highs in targets, catches, and receiving yards and he’s a pretty solid TE lottery ticket each week. The Bears had a great matchup and while Caleb Williams was solid, he hardly lit the world on fire. He completed 20 of 36 passes for 220 yards, one passing touchdown, and no interceptions. He added 28 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown showing his dual-threat ability, but he’s still matchup dependent as this offense can still be touch and go. D’Andre Swift rushed 13 times for 80 yards and caught five of eight targets for 18 yards. Returning from a groin injury, he out-touched Kyle Monangai 18-7 and kept the lead back role. Both are solid plays rest of the season, but this was a matchup vs. a bottom-tier defense and MIN this week isn’t that. D.J. Moore left the Week 10 game against the Giants briefly with a shoulder injury, while he returned, he also failed to bring in any of his five targets. Thank God Rome Odunze showed up, catching six of 10 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown. He’s back to being a top-12 option every week, especially Moore being a no-show. Colston Loveland caught all four of his targets for 55 yards and he’s a solid play each week as he’s clearly out-performed Cole Kmet.
Pickup of the game – TE– Colston Loveland – Priority Low
Dolphins 30 – Bills 16
This was one of the biggest upsets of the weekend. The Bills have owned the Dolphins in the Josh Allen era, but this time MIA jumped out to a lead and never looked back. Tua Tagovailoa wasn’t great, completing 15 of 21 passes for 173 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, but it was De’Von Achane who caused the damage. Achane went  rushed 22 times for 174 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught all six of his targets for 51 yards. The Bills have been routinely abused to superstar RBs and it continues to be their Achilles heel. Jaylen Waddle caught five of seven targets for 84 yards and a touchdown and has become more reliable than Tyreek Hill over the last two seasons. Waddle seems to have the same stat line every week, which is great for fantasy. Josh Allen completed 28 of 40 passes for 306 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Week 10. He rushed for 31 yards, took three sacks, and lost a fumble. With the Bills playing catchup all game, Allen was able to let it fly, but it was too little, too late plus the TOs killed any comeback chances. Dalton Kincaid got hurt after having two receptions for 37 yards and the Bills will miss him dearly. James Cook rushed 13 times for 53 yards and caught all five targets for 24 yards and he was game-scripted out early. Khalil Shakir caught seven of nine targets for 58 yards and might see a role increase with Keon Coleman with Kincaid week-to-week.
Pickup of the game – WR – Keon Coleman – Priority Med
Ravens 26 – Vikings 19Â
The Ravens are still alive, but something isn’t just right. Lamar Jackson completed 17 of 29 passes for 176 yards and one touchdown while rushing nine times for 36 yards. It’s not terrible and the MIN defense can give him problems, but this isn’t the MVP Jackson we have seen the last two seasons. The same goes for Derrick Henry rushed 20 times for 75 yards and caught all three of his targets for nine yards without scoring. It won’t get better right away with CLE up next, but you don’t really have a choice with those two. Zay Flowers recorded four receptions on six targets for 75 yard and he’s only pass-catcher you can trust right now. The TE situation remains messy, but Mark Andrews still caught the only TD for BAL. If BAL wasn’t quite efficient, the Vikings were a complete nightmare. JJ McCarthy has set this offense back to square one and he had two INTs and only TD with 248 passing yards. Aaron Jones rushed nine times for 47 yards and scored his first touchdown of the season. He’s the clear RB1 over Jordan Mason and that should continue as long as Jones can stay healthy. Mason is still an elite stash. Justin Jefferson caught four of 12 targets for 37 yards and had the worst game of the season despite the double-digit targets. Jordan Addison was also afflicted with three receptions for 35 yards and while you have to start Jefferson, Addison is a fringe flex at this point. Jalen Nailor had a strong game with five catches for 124 yards and a touchdown, but he’s not to be trusted. With the Bears up next, everyone does get a slight bump, but McCarthy is the worst thing to happen to MIN in a long time.
Pickup of the game – None
Jets 27 – Browns 20
Justin Fields was beyond bad and it will be shocking if he starts another game, but with the Jets actually winning, maybe the plan will be to start him and plan to lose. While that was great for Breece Hall, rushing 21 times for 83 yards and caught his only target for a 42-yard touchdown. He’s the only part of the offense that isn’t a mess right now and you have to wonder if Garrett Wilson will get shut down after posting getting hurt again while posting a goose egg this week. The whole team is fade and trade Hall if you can. The Browns aren’t much better, but at least Dillon Gabriel looked competent, completing 17 of 32 passes for 167 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions while also rushing five times for 54 yards. He got Jerry Jeudy going, who caught six of 12 targets for 78 yards and a touchdown, but this team is built around Quinshon Judkins and the running game. Judkins rushed 22 times for 75 yards and caught two of three targets for 10 yards, but failed to score. With BAL up next, this whole team is back to being a fade, but Judkins has earned must-start status each week.
Pickup of the game – None – Â
