The NBA Cup kicks off tonight, with a nice, spaced-out slate to ease us into the action. Nobody is on a back-to-back so everyone should be putting their best foot forward. Austin Reaves is going to toss the Lakers on his back again, the Sixers and Bulls — just like we all expected — are trying to go to 5-0 and the Blazers get a big chance to prove themselves against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets.

There’s a lot going on tonight but before we go through the big stories to watch and the streamers to stream, let’s take a quick look back at Thursday.

Top Pickups

This is the “general must-add” section regardless of the slate. If these players were overlooked in your draft or remain chilling on the waiver wire, consider adding them to your squad.

Ryan Rollins

Rollins has set career-highs in scoring in back-to-back games and looks fantastic for a Bucks team that began the season with major question marks in the backcourt. He’s a must-add in all formats and you should start him until you’re given a reason not to. Rollins dropped 32 points (13-of-21 FG), eight assists and five 3-pointers in an upset win over the Warriors.
