NOTE: The cutoff point will be 50% rostered in NFBC leagues (12-teams). The players will be listed in order of rostership. This article will be updated throughout the weekend.
Gavin Sheets – 1B, OF – SDP – 42%
He is a strong side platoon that, according to Fangraph’s probables grid, is set to face nothing but right handed pitching in the coming week. He is off to a great start with a .327/.382/.510 slashline to go with two homers and 10 RBI. He’s also hitting the ball hard with a 52.8% hard-hit rate and is avoiding ground balls with a 22.2% ground ball rate. Go ahead and use him this week, but it is probably a short-term add and don’t expect these kinds of numbers long term.
Recommendation – 12-team leagues – 1-3% of FAAB
