• With only one game on the slate tonight, I was able to spot three players who had strong performances and could be worthwhile pickups. Both the Hornets and Lakers play again tomorrow on the second leg of a back-to-back, and both teams have a history of resting players in these situations. If some starters sit out, tonight’s top performers could step up again and be valuable streaming options.

    (<50% rostered on Yahoo)

Nick Smith Jr., PG, SG, CHA (15% rostered)

Tonight: 29 minutes, 12 points (4-of-13 FG), two boards, one assist, one steal, four triples.

Analysis: Smith Jr. struggled with his shot tonight but knocked down four triples and nearly played 30 minutes. He has seen increased fantasy value recently, but his production looks to dip when LaMelo Ball is on the court, making his performance unpredictable on those nights. While he has noticeable flaws in his game, he remains a reliable source of points and 3-pointers on most nights and could see a boost in assists when Ball sits. If you can manage some inconsistency, he could be a worthwhile add, especially with the Hornets having little to play for the rest of the season, despite their win tonight.
