Welcome back, fantasy freaks. Let’s begin the process of making the trade that is going to tilt the balance of power in your league toward YOU. The waiver wire is great for the margins and gaining that extra edge on a nightly basis in head-to-head matchups. However, it usually does not provide season-long game-changers, who are acquired by pulling off trades that get your league buzzing.

Sell High

Franz Wagner

Franz is cooking, folks. He is playing at an All-Star level overall and he has played like an All-NBA candidate on several occasions, leading the Magic to one of the best records in the East. The German slasher is posting a PRA of 23-5-5 with 1.8 steals and 2.2 threes, ranking 12th overall in 9-cat. First-round value!

I would sell high with Franz because Paolo Banchero has not been ruled out for the season with his torn right oblique. Paolo is two weeks out from a re-evaluation, meaning he could be back on the court before the new year–or maybe not. That is the gamble for all of us, but I would bet on Paolo coming back relatively soon and initiate my exit strategy from Franz.

Trade targets are Jaren Jackson Jr, Jalen Johnson and Derrick White.
