It’s trade deadline week, so fantasy managers should be more focused on saving adds for the fallouts of the impending trades rather than going all in on streaming this week. That said, that doesn’t mean you can’t make a pickup under any circumstances, but you should be choosing your moves very carefully. We will explore the potential adds from Monday’s six-game slate as usual, but you don’t need to act on any of these unless there is some long-term benefit to be had.
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Josh Green, G/F, Mavs
Tonight: 32 minutes, 20 points (6-of-9 FG, 4-of-7 3PT, 4-of-4 FT), six rebounds, four assists, two steals
Green is not a player you need to run out and add, but at the moment, he seems secure in his starting role. He has had a few good games lately so he should be fine to hold in the short term for some threes with the chance of the other good stuff we saw here.
Harrison Barnes, F, Kings
Tonight: 30 minutes, 22 points (8-of-15 FG, 6-of-10 3PT), one rebound, one steal
Barnes had that two-game heater for the ages and then slowed back down. However, he has produced another couple of good games since. Can we trust it? Probably not. That is to say, you don’t have to add him, but if you already did, you can also be okay with just riding another wave of good form in the short term.
