The Raiders have officially hit rock bottom after losing to the Colts in Jeff Saturday’s professional coaching debut. The Raiders are 2-7, and it looks like all hell is breaking loose in Las Vegas. Similarly, the Broncos’ season is nearing an all-time low. Their offense has only surpassed 20 points twice, and that was against the Raiders and Jaguars. This matchup won’t decide anything except for who will likely finish last in an underwhelming AFC West. 

Top Starts

Davante Adams: During the past two weeks, Adams has seen 31 total targets, catching 19 of them for 272 yards with three touchdowns. Adams has been just as dominant as he was in Green Bay, as he’s third in the NFL in targets, sixth in yards, and first in receiving touchdowns. Adams is also being used a little bit differently, as his 13.8 yards per reception is a career-high. When you combine that efficiency with the volume of targets that he sees, it’s impossible to start anyone not named Tyreek Hill, Justin Jefferson, or Stefon Diggs over him. Adams also caught 9-of-13 targets for 101 yards during his week four matchup against these same Broncos. 

Cortland Sutton: When Sutton played the Raiders earlier this year, he caught 5-of-7 targets for 52 yards and a touchdown. Now, he plays that same secondary, but this time it’s without Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler, Javonte Williams and maybe Kendall Hilton. Sutton saw 11 targets last week with this banged-up receiving core, and he should be able to dominate this horrible Raiders’ secondary. He is a solid WR2 in Week 11.

Josh Jacobs: Despite the Broncos’ solid defense, Jacobs still seems like a good start this week. He should see many touches since the Broncos will likely try to run the ball and slow down the game. Also, when these two teams played back in Week 4, Jacobs turned 33 touches into 175 yards and two touchdowns. Jacobs is coming off a nice bounce-back game against the Colts, and this seems like a great spot for him to build off that. 

Boom/Bust Dart-Throw

Russell Wilson: Wilson’s only game with over 20 fantasy points came in Week 4 against this same Raiders team. He completed 17-of-25 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns, also adding 29 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Although the rushing touchdown is flukey, this Raiders defense is beyond terrible, ranking dead-last in total DVOA, which is Football Outsiders’ defensive metric rating, and pass DVOA. If Wilson has another 25-plus point game this season, it will likely be in this one. However, it’s hard to trust someone who’s been so bad, especially at the deepest position in fantasy football.
