Elijah HughesSG, Utah JazzElijah Hughes, a second-round draft choice out of Syracuse, has signed his rookie deal with the Jazz, according to a team press release.
Hughes stands to earn right under $900,000 for the upcoming season, the minimum salary for a first year player. He was drafted 39th overall by the Pelicans but was acquired in a draft night trade by the Jazz. Hughes, who began his college career at East Carolina before moving to Syracuse, led the ACC in scoring in 2019-20 (19.0 PPG) and averaged 4.9 RPG, 3.4 APG and 1.2 SPG.
