• Willie Cauley-Stein
    C, Dallas Mavericks

Willie Cauley-Stein has agreed on a two-year, $8.2 million deal to re-sign with the Mavs.

This is a bit surprising, as Cauley-Stein was barely in the rotation after being traded to the Mavs last season. He averaged just 12.1 mpg in 13 appearances but should see more than that with Kristaps Porzingis sidelined to start the year. His role when the Mavs are fully healthy is very much up in the air. The second year is reported to be a team option, which will help Dallas preserve flexibility to go hunting for a star next offseason.
