Gordon Hayward

Marc Stein reports that the Pacers, as of Friday morning, are still exploring sign-and-trade options that would net them Gordon Hayward.

Hayward opted out of $34 million yesterday, so he must feel very confident that another large deal is right around the corner despite a tough go of it over his three seasons in Boston. The Pacers have long been connected to Hayward, who has many ties to the area, and this may be their best chance to actually acquire him.
