James HardenPG, Houston RocketsMark Murphy of the Boston Herald reports that the Celtics are not interested in trading for James Harden, while the Clippers are limited in what they can offer in a trade following their 2019 deal for Paul George.
Houston appears to be playing the patience game in terms of their timeline of when they will trade Harden, even if the Nets appear to be the favorites to trade for him. There is a chance that another team emerges as the dark horse and takes a shot at landing Harden but it appears that Boston has no interest whatsoever. The Clippers meanwhile would love to upgrade their roster but they are limited in what they can offer, making a deal for Harden quite unlikely.
