The Lakers and Thunder have an agreement in principle to a trade that would send Dennis Schroder to the Lakers and the No. 28 pick in the draft to the Thunder.
Previous reports had Danny Green also headed to OKC, so we'll see what happens when this deal gets finalized — either way, an agreement in principle is a lot further along the track than "deep discussions." Schroder was a great fantasy value last season as a high-minute, high-usage guard for a Thunder outfit that often leaned on its three PGs, but it's highly unlikely he gets the same sort of deployment for LA. We'll see if this trade gets finalized on Monday or the teams hold off until later in the offseason. In that case, the Lakers would be picking for the Thunder in the draft, and it would give them time to rope more teams into this transaction to net some other assets along the way.
