Luka DoncicPG-SF, Dallas MavericksKevin O'Connor of The Ringer reports that the Mavs are looking for a secondary playmaker to support Luka Doncic and are "chasing" Victor Oladipo, Spencer Dinwiddie and Zach LaVine.
The Mavs know that their championship window has just opened and it looks like they intend to maximize it by acquiring meaningful help as soon as possible. The cost of the three players mentioned would vary wildly, and there's nothing to suggest that a move is imminent, but we would expect the Mavs to try and add at least one significant piece over the course of the offseason. They've been said to be trying to trade their No. 18 pick in the draft for immediate help as well.
