Bruno FernandoPF, Atlanta HawksBruno Fernando has spent part of his offseason watching every game from his rookie year, as he looks for areas to improve in his game.
“I was just really not being decisive,” Fernando said. “I think that was the biggest thing that really didn’t allow me to be myself because I was scared of making mistakes.” Fernando has been working a lot with Clint Capela at the Hawks’ minicamp that started last week. The Angolan big will have to fight Dewayne Dedmon for minutes next year as the Hawks are expected to start John Collins next to Capela. Fernando’s work ethic though is a great sign and it remains to be seen if he will be able to crack the rotation.
