Wenyen GabrielPF, Portland Trail BlazersWenyen Gabriel will be in the starting lineup for Game 1 in place of Zach Collins (left ankle inflammation) on Tuesday evening.
Gabriel started the second half of the Blazers' win over the Grizzlies on Saturday after Collins departed with the ankle injury. He had already been reported to be unable to go on Tuesday, so it's only natural that Gabriel will pick up the start in Collins' stead. Gabriel only had three points (1-of-3 FG), one rebound, one assist and one 3-pointer in nine minutes on Saturday. Most of the playing time will go to other players with Collins sidelined. Look for Hassan Whiteside to inherit a good chunk of the minutes that Collins usually sees.
