Deandre AytonC, Phoenix SunsDeandre Ayton scored 19 points (9-of-18 FG, 1-of-2 3PT), snatched seven rebounds and dished out four assists in 37 minutes as the Suns beat the Clippers 117-115 on Tuesday.
This was a great bounce-back game for Ayton after he struggled with foul trouble on Sunday vs. the Mavs. He was instrumental in the victory and was able to get Devin Booker open on a number of occasions. He didn't record a block, however, which is a little surprising as Ayton has averaged 1.7 blocks per game in 2019-20 (the Suns did not record a single block as a team on Tuesday afternoon). This was a monumental win for coach Monty Williams and the Suns' young core.
