Nicolo MelliPF, New Orleans PelicansNicolo Melli averaged 6.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 triples, 0.6 steals and 0.4 blocks in 52 games for the Pelicans, good for 267/273 value in 8/9-cat leagues on a per-game basis.
The expectations were high for Melli and he surely did not disappoint in his rookie year, providing the Pelicans with some much-needed versatility on both ends of the floor. The Italian forward shot a respectable .361 from behind the 3-point arc, allowing New Orleans to use him in effective small-ball lineups. He was also a member of the Rising Stars challenge during the All-Star Game in Chicago, solidifying himself as a strong veteran presence for a young Pelicans squad.
