Malcolm BrogdonPG, Indiana PacersMalcolm Brogdon has been diagnosed with a torn left rectus femoris (quad, basically) and will be listed as week-to-week going forward.
It's a huge blow to the Pacers, who are jockeying for seeding in the playoffs. Brogdon started the year off tremendously and has slowed down to more of a middle-round level of late but is still a massive part of Indiana's attack. Aaron Holiday, TJ McConnell, Edmond Sumner and Justin Holiday should all get additional minutes as a result of this injury, and each brings different things to the table. Aaron is the better Holiday for scoring upside while Justin should be the most consistent producer of steals and threes. McConnell is a light FG% boost with assists, while Sumner has the best all-around game for deep-league GMs who want to bet on upside. Victor Oladipo is another big winner, as he's going to take on a lot of extra ball-handling work. Hopefully that can get him sorted out, as it's been a rocky campaign for Dipo to this point. Fantasy GMs without IR spots who are scrapping for a playoff spot might have to consider dropping Brogdon given this nebulous timeline.
