Jusuf NurkicC, Portland Trail BlazersJusuf Nurkic (left leg compound fracture) is set to make his season debut on March 15 against the Rockets.
It's going to be great to see Nurkic back on the floor for Portland, and if he can get up to speed quickly it'll make the Blazers the most dangerous team in the fight for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Fantasy GMs should keep expectations low considering the minutes restrictions that Nurkic will be facing, but he's a fine flier pickup if you're not in dire need of immediate production and aren't in love with the guy at the end of the bench. Hassan Whiteside should take a small hit as a result of this news but will be safe for early-round value until Nurkic starts pushing up to 20-24 mpg. When Nurk returns, it'll be nearly a year since he first suffered the terrible injury last March 26.
