Coach Kenny Atkinson shared that one of his players was extremely close with Kobe Bryant and ruled Irving out in the same breath. We send our best wishes to Irving as this news must be hitting him harder than most. Spencer Dinwiddie will get another start, although the Nets' plan is still to bring him off the bench whenever Irving returns to the lineup.
