Week 5 Fantasy Football Injury Roundup

By JasonBaum85 Published October 13, 2026 1 min read

Quarterback

Michael Penix Jr – Falcons – Ribs – Penix suffered a rib injury late in the Falcons’ Week 5 loss to the Ravens and was forced to exit the game. Tua Tagovailoa came in and finished the game. The team believes Penix’s injury isn’t too serious but again is something that will need to be monitored over the course of the week. While Penix is only owned in 16% of sleeper leagues so odds are Penix managers have other quarterbacks, this very much impacts the statuses of Drake London and Kyle Pitts. Ever since Penix returned from his knee injury, London has looked like a WR1 and Pitts has started to slowly get going. If Tagovailoa or Cooper Rush have to come in and start…London goes down to WR2 status and Pitts drops down to FLEX value.
