It’s Week 14 and it’s do-or-die time for fantasy football. With six teams on bye week in a down-year for WRs, this list is as important as ever, and I’m here to deliver!
Check back every week as we rank the WRs ahead of their potential matchups. The position is as deep as ever, and you will want to know who start and who to bench based on matchup’s, projections and sometimes just gut feel.
PLAYER NAME TEAM OPP Blrub 1 Ja'Marr Chase Cincinnati Bengals @ Dallas Cowboys Chase has been far and away the WR1 this season, averaging 19.4 FPPG on the year, almost three whole points higher than the next-closest WR. The Cowboys allow the 15th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Fire up Chase as the WR1 with the Bengals' passing offense hotter than ever. 2 Amon-Ra St. Brown Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers The 2024 WR4 in FPPG diisappointed last few weeks after failing to score a touchdown in either game following the end of his eight-game touchdown streak. I'm expecting him to go off on TNF against division rival Green Bay. They're a tough matchup in 2024, but Jaire Alexander was ruled out for the contest. 3 Justin Jefferson Minnesota Vikings vs. Atlanta Falcons Jefferson had his best game since Week 9 against the Cardinals last week, and he should have a chance to build upon that momentum against Atlanta and his former QB, Kirk Cousins. Atlanta allows the seventh-most fantasy points to WRs this year, to go with among 4 Puka Nacua Los Angeles Rams vs. Buffalo Bills Nacua is the WR13 in FPPG this season, but he's scored at least 14.3 half-PPR points in every game he's finished this season, with at least a 98 yards or a touchdown in each performance. The Bills allow the third-fewest fantasy points to WRs this season, but have been beatable through the air at times. 5 A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles vs. Carolina Panthers Brown has been among the most efficient wideouts this season, and he's now the WR8 in FPPG this season, despite failing to see more than six receptions in a game. Hopefully, the Panthers improved play in recent weeks will make this more interesting, leaving more opportunities for the Eagles' passing game. 6 Mike Evans Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Las Vegas Raiders In his second game back in the lineup, Evans was the WR4 overall in Week 13, his best finish of the season. He's still chasing his 1,000-yard season to extend his historic streak, and should continue to be heavily involved. The Raiders allow the 10th-fewest fantasy points to opposing WRs this season, but the top opposing WR has averaged 16.6 fantasy points over their last three weeks. 7 Tee Higgins Cincinnati Bengals @ Dallas Cowboys Insanely enough, Tee Higgins is the Bengals' second WR in the top-3 in FPPG this season, at third on the year. This offense is absolutely rolling, and there should be plenty of opportunities for both WRs to continue presenting elite upside. 8 Drake London Atlanta Falcons @ Minnesota Vikings London set a season-high of 16 targets last week. While Cousins has played poorly recently, he should do his best to bring his best against his former-team, and the volume has elite standalone value. The Vikings allow the second-most fantasy points to WRs this season. 9 Cooper Kupp Los Angeles Rams vs. Buffalo Bills Kupp is coming off of his worst game of the season, but it's one that could be dismissed as an outlier once the season is said and done. He's still the WR5 in FPPG this season, and the volume should be way up and back to normal as they likely play catch-up against Buffalo on Sunday. 10 CeeDee Lamb Dallas Cowboys vs. Cincinnati Bengals Lamb had his Week 13 cut short by a shoulder injury, but he's trending towards playing on MNF against the Bengals this week. The Bengals allow the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing WRs this year, and Lamb should be able to eat with his usual volume. He's averaged roughly 13 targets over his last six games prior. 11 George Pickens Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns Pickens did decent last week, but it felt like there was some meat left on the bone given the aerial outpour that Russell Wilson dumped on the Bengals. The Browns are the third-worst at defending fantasy WRs this season, so it should be wheels up for Pickens and the Steelers' passing game again. 12 Jakobi Meyers Las Vegas Raiders @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers Yes, with six teams on bye, Jakobi Meyers is a WR1 with fantasy playoff hopes in the balance. He has at least 12.7 points in 4-of-5 games, and now gets the Bucs in Week 14, who allow the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing WRs this season. Aidan O'Connell is a better pure passer than Minshew, and should raise the ceiling for Meyers. 13 Tyreek Hill Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets Hill has had one of the more disappointing seasons, illustrating the WR position's 2024 disappointments as a whole, as the WR38 in FPPG this season. However, he does have at least 10 points in 5-of-6 games and his coming off of his best game since Week 1. The Jets have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to the position this year, but Hill did finish as the WR2 overall in their lone matchup last year. 14 Ladd McConkey Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs Ladd McConkey is the alpha weapon of this offense with J.K. Dobbins out, and it's not even close. He should get all he can handle in a big AFC West matchup with the Chiefs, who allow the 17th-most fantasy points to the position, but were just torched by Aidan O'Connell fresh off of a thumb injury. 15 Davante Adams New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins I'm personally not expecting Aaron Rodgers to roll over, and with the concerns for Breece Hall's Week 14 status growing, the Jets should be throwing the ball as often as ever, despite the rough matchup. The Dolphins allow the fewest fantasy points to the position this season, but Adams's volume should make him a red zone touchdown away from bringing home the bacon. He's averaged 11 targets in his last four games. 16 Jerry Jeudy Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers Have a day, Jerry Jeudy! Jeudy has been great since Winston took over in Week 8, and he was the WR16 in FPPG since then, until MNF's explosion jumped him up the WR3 in that span. The Steelers allow the eighth-fewest fantasy points to the position this season, but Jameis Winston might be enough to make Jeudy matchup-proof. 17 Malik Nabers New York Giants vs. New Orleans Saints Nabers has been a solid fantasy WR for a long stretch now, but he's also gone just as long without achieving the elite upside that we saw from him early in his rookie campaign. He's the WR12 in FPPG this season, and his role in the offense will give him a consistent high-floor, and that is what attributes most to his ranking. 18 Jauan Jennings San Francisco 49ers vs. Chicago Bears Jennings has had a couple of excusable down weeks, but he's a bounce back candidate for Week 14. With clear skies on deck at home and Brock Purdy in his second game back in the lineup, Jennings shouldn be back to the breakout player we saw for a majority of the season. 19 Jaxon Smith-Njigba Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals JSN is the WR19 in FPPG this season, and he's gradually overtaken D.K. Metcalf as the top option of the Seahawks' offense in recent weeks, averaging the fifth-most FPPG since Week 9. The Cardinals allow the 14th-fewest fantasy points to the position, though they have been playing better defensively as the season wears on. JSN should remain a high-floor WR option in the NFC West standoff. 20 DJ Moore Chicago Bears @ San Francisco 49ers Moore and the Bears' offense have a looked a lot better since their coaching change a few weeks back, and Moore has finished as the WR4 and WR7 in each of his last two games. He's coming off a massive 16-target game, and should see similar success with that much volume in the revamped Chicago offense. 21 Calvin Ridley Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Ridley is something of a boom-or-bust WR this season, and he's the WR13 in FPPG since Week 9. Despite a couple disappointments in recent weeks, he should bounce back in a big way against the Jaguars, who surrender the fourth-most fantasy points to WRs this season. 22 Garrett Wilson New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins Over the last month of the season, Garrett Wilson is the WR76 in FPPG, failing to net at least seven points in game since Week 9. With a tough matchup on deck against the Dolphins, and Davante Adams stepping into a consistent lead role, Wilson will be a prayer will be a tough start, though he should remain in lineups given his talent and upside. 23 D.K. Metcalf Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals Metcalf has been solid, but not the player we know him to be, in recent weeks. He's finished inside the top-24 just once in his last seven games, but at least his floor is still well above zero. These teams faced off two weeks ago, where Metcalf caught 4-of-5 for 59 yards. He's also a bit banged up with a shoulder injury, but should be there against AZ. 24 Marvin Harrison Jr. Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks MHJ has been the definition of boom-or-bust his rookie season, with at least 13 fantasy points in six games this season, and 6.2 points or less in every other start. That said, he's finished as the WR21 or better in 3-of-5 games, but was the WR51 on the road against Seattle two weeks back. He's as risky as ever, but his odds of succeeding should be better at home against Seattle than on the road. 25 Jayden Reed Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions Jayden Reed hasn't seen the greatest volume in the latter half of the season, but remains a scoring threat, racking up 2 more touchdowns last week. Since the team's Week 10 bye, he's recorded no more than three catches and 26 yards in a game. He is a TD or bust, while 26 Brian Thomas Jr. Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans BTJ has been sensational for the majority of his rookie season, overcoming the Jags' woes to emerge as the WR21 in FPPG this season. The Titans are a tough matchup, and Thomas's outlook is a bit damaged with Mac Jones back in the saddle, but the Jaguars really have nothing better to do than chuck passes at Thomas. He set a season-high with 10 targets last week, and should be able to get home with a similar workload this week. 27 Deandre Hopkins Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers Since getting up to speed with the Chiefs, Deandre Hopkins is the WR22 in FPPG. The Chargers allow the 16th-most fantasy points to WRs this season, but have been much more leaky over their last three games. DHop will be a high-upside WR3 in this AFC West bout. 28 Christian Watson Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions With Romeo Doubs out again, it's wheels up for Watson as the team's primary downfield target against the Lions' banged up defense. Another boom-or-bust candidate, he averages 72 receiving yards a game over his last three, even though he had zero in Week 12. His snaps jumped to 94% last week, far and away the most of the season for him. If he gets similar run against Detroit, he could blow up this week. 29 Deebo Samuel San Francisco 49ers vs. Chicago Bears Deebo has been pretty rough recently, failing to surpass 4.1 points in three-straight games. Hopefully, with clear conditions and Brock Purdy back in the lineup, Samuel can start contributing again. His upside could be further raised, if he sees a backfield role again with both CMC and Jordan Mason out. 30 Jordan Addison Minnesota Vikings vs. Atlanta Falcons Second-year WR Jordan Addison has been the WR13 over the last five weeks of the season, but he's been more of a boom-or-bust profile, finishing as a WR2 or better in 3-of-5 games, but 47th overall or worse in the two other outings. He should have a shot at success against a favorable matchup with Atlanta. 31 Jameson Williams Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers Since returning from his mid-season suspension, Williams has been the WR20 in FPPG over the last four weeks. Unfortunately, one of his games served was against GB, but Goff had his worst fantasy day of the season in that matchup. Williams has seen his targets increase over the last few weeks, and should be a WR3 with upside in this one. 32 Keenan Allen Chicago Bears @ San Francisco 49ers Keenan Allen has woken up with the Bears' post-coaching change resurgence, Over his last two games, he's scored three touchdowns and finished as the WR6 and WR3 overall. He's been more of a WR1B to DJ Moore recently, handily clearing Odunze in target share and production. The 49ers allow the seventh-fewest fantasy points to the position in 2024. 33 Khalil Shakir Buffalo Bills @ Los Angeles Rams Excluding last week's snow game, Shakir has at least eight fantasy points in every game he's played completely this season. He's the WR40 in FPPG, but provides more value in PPR leagues, as he's hit this mark despite not finding the end zone since Week 3.The Rams are giving up the 11th-most WR FPPG this year. 34 Devonta Smith Philadelphia Eagles vs. Carolina Panthers Devonta Smith has missed a couple games with a hamstring injury, and prior to that, had a pair of disappointing outings. As the team has been leaning heavily on their run and defense, Smith may have a hard time contributing in his first game back against a Panthers defense that heavily favors opposing rushers. 35 Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars One of the biggest anomalies of the 2024 season has been Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. He went from getting paid to do cardio, logging zero targets in his first four games, to scoring a touchdown in 7-of-8 games coming out of the team's bye week. He has eight TD catches on 20 receptions all season, and has been a favorite, high-value target for Will Levis in big moments and in garbage time. 36 Darnell Mooney Atlanta Falcons @ Minnesota Vikings Among the most pleasant of surprises of the season was Darnell Mooney making his return to fantasy relevance as the WR35 with 10.7 FPPG on the year. He's had a couple down weeks coinciding with Kirk Cousins's stretch of poor play, but should have a shot to bounce back against Minnesota, who allows the second-most WR FPPG this season. 37 Elijah Moore Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers In Jameis Winston's crazy MNF performance, Moore saw 14 targets with Cedric Tillman out, the highest mark of the season for Moore. He's averaged nine targets per game since Winston took over, and is quietly been pretty good for the Browns since then. He's hit at least 12 fantasy points in 3-of-5 games, and will be another decent PPR dart throw against Pittsburgh. 38 Dontayvion Wicks Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions Wicks never captured the potential he flashed at the end of last season, but he'll get another chance this week with Romeo Doubs out for TNF vs. the Lions. It's a great matchup for fantasy WRs, and Wicks saw a season-high 89% snap share last week, where caught 4-of-5 targets for 30 yards. He's a high-upside WR4 this week. 39 Jaylen Waddle Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets Jaylen Waddle came back down to Earth a bit last week, but it was still his next-best game of the season since Week 1, after finishing as the WR3 overall in Week 12. He was the WR36 with 9.3 points last week, and it marked just the fourth time he finished as WR3 or better this season. He'll be a tough start against one of the league's best secondaries this week. 40 Adam Thielen Carolina Panthers @ Philadelphia Eagles In his second game since returning from a long IR stint this season, Thielen had his best game of the season, finishing as the WR6 overall against the Bucs. It's a tough matchup next week, though, as Philly allows the fifth-fewest FPPG to wideouts this year. 41 Rome Odunze Chicago Bears @ San Francisco 49ers The rookie first-round WR has flashed potential this season, but hasn't quite been able to to get there as the WR3 of the offense. His targets are trending up, but he's failed to finish inside the top-35 WRs more than twice this season. He has the potential to bring league-winning upside with a promotion for any reason down the stretch, but remains a high-upside WR4 for now. 42 Amari Cooper Buffalo Bills @ Los Angeles Rams Cooper has failed to really get his legs under him with the Bills, seeing just 51% of snaps or fewer in every game since joining the team mid-season. The ceiling still feels like it's astronomical here, and I was expecting more work for him out of the team's bye week, but perhaps the snowy conditions threw a wrench in that. It would be hard to count on him with playoff hopes on the line, but man would it feel good for him to break out right on time. 43 Marquez Valdes-Scantling New Orleans Saints @ New York Giants MVS signed with the Saints in Week 8 and was their top wideout a game later. He's scored a touchdown in each of his last three games, and four total. The Giants are a middling matchup for opposing, and MVS should have a real shot at getting home once again as the team's top receiving option. 44 Xavier Worthy Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers Worthy has had an inconsistent rookie season with the Chiefs, and while he wasn't able to seize the massive opportunity in front of him earlier in the year, he's still a dynamic playmaker and is a threat to score with the ball in his hands more often than not. He's averaging roughly 10 PPG over his last three outings, and gets a decent matchup with the Chargers in Week 14. 45 Quentin Johnston Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs Johnston was able to catch the ball this week, but still disappointed as Ladd McConkey ran away with as much passing volume as he could handle. If McConkey is out, Johnston would rise quite a bit, but his floor is a zero, as shown in Week 12. It's a good matchup, but Johnston is hard to put faith in with fantasy seasons on the line. 46 Xavier Legette Carolina Panthers @ Philadelphia Eagles Legette has been pretty solid this season, but he's only surpassed 12 points in just one game this year, and likely won't be doing much to help you win this week out wide against the Eagles. He can likely be avoided in most leagues of 12 teams or fewer this week. 47 Parker Washington Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans Second-year WR, Parker Washington set career-highs in yards and fantasy points last week, finishing as the WR5 overall with 111 yards and a score. He only has two other games with more than two catches this season, so there's a chance this could wind up one-and-done for Washington. Especially not this week in a tough matchup against Tennessee. 48 Ray-Ray McCloud III Atlanta Falcons @ Minnesota Vikings McCloud is coming off a season-high 95 receiving yards, and has seen six targets in two consecutive outings. He's been a decent floor play for deep fantasy leagues this season, but he's a low-end dart throw for leagues of 14 or fewer. He does get a matchup with the second-worst defense vs. fantasy WRs this season. Click here to join us on Discord! And Follow us on Twitter by clicking here
