Quarterback
Tua Tagovailoa – Falcons – Back – Tagovailoa left practice last Thursday due to back spasms. Cooper Rush took over as the starter and while neither quarterback holds major fantasy value, the availability of Tagovailoa and/or Michael Penix will have impact on the values of Kyle Pitts and Drake London. London was held to just two catches for 29 yards in Week 1. If Rush starts, London’s value drops from WR1 to WR2.
Sam Darnold – Seahawks – (hip) – Darnold suffered a hip injury on the Seahawks’ opening drive Wednesday night. While there is no specification to what the injury actually is, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo is reporting that Darnold could be out up to four weeks. Drew Lock will take over as the starter in the meantime and will hold low end QB2 value.
Kyler Murray – Vikings – (concussion) – Murray suffered a concussion in the Vikings’ Week 1 win over the Packers and is currently in the league’s concussion protocol. If Murray doesn’t clear it in time, Carson Wentz will get the start. Wentz played extremely well in Week 1 and is getting a matchup against a Bears team that gave up 31 points to the Panthers in Week 1. Wentz has viable QB2 value heading into Week 2 if he’s the one playing.
