Weather Impacts on Your Fantasy Players for July 22-28

  • Watch out for a few rain delays and maybe postponements in the first half of this week, thanks to above-average rain chances across the South and East Coast. Rain should be less of a factor by the weekend, however, as many host cities will have very low rain chances.

Temperature differences across MLB ballparks will be less extreme this week than normal. In fact, almost all games will be played with temperatures in the 70s or 80s. There is one very notable exception which you will see in the “Avoid” section below. Otherwise, those uniform temperatures should create many good hitting environments but no particularly great ones.

If you want to know which teams are my Weather Winners or Weather Losers of the week, skip to the bottom of this article. Otherwise, here are the series or individual games to target/avoid based on this week’s weather.
