We got a shallow slate of games for Tuesday, but that does not mean there are not some performances from players that warrant manager’s attention. Early in the year, injuries have already started to take their toll on some rosters so some managers might be taking a ‘turn and burn’ approach to their new empty roster spot. Or you went into the year with a plan to stream like crazy. Whatever the reason for the early season adds, we got your back! Here are the players to consider adding for both standard leagues (12-teams) or deeper formats.
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Christian Braun (40% rostered)
Tonight; 39 minutes, 12 points (3-of-7 FG, 4-of-6 FT), two triples, three rebounds, three assists and two blocks
Braun continues to be a solid source of triples and blocks, while the efficiency was less than ideal tonight, he generally won’t be someone to hurt your FG% (different story on the FT%,). Moving forward, standard league managers should view him as a solid end of bench option as he can get you the aforementioned counting stats with a solid FG%. Just be wary nights like this from the charity stripe can happen, but it is not something that will obliterate a manager in that category.
Jaden McDaniels (22% rostered)
Tonight: 35 minutes, 13 points (6-of-11 FG), one triple, four rebounds, four assists. .
Analysis: While the block production was missing, he delivered efficient points and the triple was nice and he added some dimes instead. McDanels is a solid stream as he has three games in four days coming up starting Friday so managers looking to get volume with one of their roster moves, the efficiency will give him a solid floor with a solid chance at blocks and other goodies.
