STUDS
1. Ja’Marr Chase
It’s been an incredibly rocky time for the Bengals this season. The best expression we can come up with is that this team has been a stop-and-start team all year long. The good news is it’s November, and this month is historically the month where the Bengals Find their stride, and that was apparent on Thursday night against the Ravens, where Ja’Marr Chase had the best fantasy day of the season with a 55.4 PPR fantasy day. Even in the bad months, Chase is still productive. Now that this offense should be firing on all cylinders, he could be even more special the rest of the way.
2. Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson’s dual-threat ability has always been a joy for fantasy managers throughout his entire career. This year has been a little bit different in the most positive way, as Lamar is trusting his receivers to make plays in clutch moments as well. Even though he’s still running the ball in big moments, you can clearly see his focus is getting his receivers in space. The better he throws the ball, the better it is for his fantasy managers. He has been the complete package this season at quarterback.
3. Chase Brown
Chase Brown is putting together a truly incredible fantasy season. Now, as the clear RB1 in Cincinnati, he has been making plays all over the field. Not only is he super effective in the running game, but he’s also incredibly fun to watch catching passes out of the backfield with super-effective route running. Keep relying on him in fantasy, as he’ll finish the year as one of the season’s unsung heroes.
1. Dionate Johnson
Dionate Johnson was only on the field for five snaps on Thursday night, as he’s clearly still getting used to the offensive playbook. He wasn’t necessarily needed, but it is a concern that the snap count isn’t really going up as fast as we would have hoped. Instead, it’s going down. Dropping him may be a little premature in fantasy, though, as it might be best to give him time, considering how effective this offense has been all year in fantasy.
2. Justin Tucker
Justin Tucker hasn’t been the same Hall of Fame kicker for fantasy managers this season, as he’s missed some critical kicks down the stretch of games this year. It’s frustrating for managers who drafted him late in drafts, considering he was a start-him and forget-it player for most of his career. While it’s hard to make a definitive recommendation about what he’ll do the rest of the year, it may be best to stick it out, knowing that the winter months will provide more opportunities for him to make critical kicks for the Ravens down the stretch.
