As we get closer to the end of the season, team are featuring their younger players just to see what they have in them. Numerous teams have seen rotation shifts, so we as fantasy managers can pounce on the opportunity and stay ahead of the pack on newer names. Let’s get into it now!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Taylor Hendricks, F, Jazz (5% on Yahoo)
Tonight: 27 minutes, 10 points (3-of-6 FG, 2-of-2 FT), two triples, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal
Hendricks is continuing to see solid minutes, producing reasonable stats across the board. The Jazz seem more focused on ensuring Hendricks sees the court, so he should be a decent hold for the rest of the season. Currently, he doesn’t pop in any one particular stat but contributes in boards, triples, and defensive stats.
Corey Kispert, G/F, Wizards (16% on Yahoo)
Tonight: 27 minutes, 20 points (8-of-15 FG, 2-of-2 FT), two triples, six rebounds, six assists, one steal
Kispert can get hot from deep, but his passing and rebounding made this a fantastic line. It is important to note Bilal Coulibaly missed this game. If Kispert is going to play this well, however, it won’t affect his minutes too much. Kispert is a fringe add in standard leagues due to a lack of diversity in his stat set, but if the rebounding keeps up then he’ll move into the low-end hold territory.
