The final weekend of the season is upon us. Today we look at a veteran hitter who is in the middle of a power surge and two young starting pitchers taking the mound against teams playing out the string.

Jason Heyward, OF, Astros (1% rostered on CBS)

Heyward has hit four of his 10 homers this season over the last two weeks and faces a trio of young starting pitchers at the Guardians this weekend. Since September 12 he is 7-for-28 with the four homers, five runs, seven RBIs and a stolen base. The Astros are set to face Joey Cantillo, Ben Lively and Gavin Williams in the series. Cantillo is a lefty so Heyward may not get the start on Friday but should see his name on the lineup card on Saturday and Sunday.
