The Hornets will host the New York Knicks in Charlotte’s first home game after returning from a 5 game West coast road trip. This is a great spot to fade the Hornets after a long trip. The Hornets went 1-4 straight up on their road trip winning the final game in Memphis which may have them playing a bit complacent on Friday. The Knicks were a top 5 ATS team on the road last season (23-15). The Knicks have continued that strong play away from home and are 5-1 straight up and 4-2 ATS on the road so far this season. The Knicks are coming off of a 112-100 loss to a short handed Milwaukee team and should be looking to pick up another road win in Charlotte. I am going to back the Knicks to cover this short line. My play is New York Knicks -1.5 (-110) for 1.1 units.
