How’d We Get Here?
The Raptors made their big move at the trade deadline in acquiring and extending Brandon Ingram. Without much room to maneuver roster-wise, Toronto was limited to bringing in Sandro Mamukelashvili in free agency. Draft night was fruitful as the Raptors added the versatile Collin Murray-Boyles and noted backcourt dog Alijah Martin, but their season will ride on how all the pieces fit together. The Raptors are too good to sink to the top of the lottery without concerted effort, but only time will tell if the core of Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley, Ingram, Jakob Poeltl, RJ Barrett and Gradey Dick can get them where they want to go.
