Several second-year players are on the brink of a breakout year due to changes in their teams’ dynamics. For some, this means increased usage because of new additions or departures in free agency. With a new teammate or an expanded role, these players have the chance to step up and showcase their growth. Conversely, some rookies might see their opportunities diminish as teams welcome back injured players or integrate high-profile draft picks.
