How’d We Get Here?

The Heat were too banged up to do anything in the playoffs and while they’re always hanging around the big trade rumors, nothing came to pass over the summer. There were minor additions but the big move was Caleb Martin signing with Philadelphia, opening a big void in Miami’s forward rotation. While the Heat wait for the next disgruntled superstar to try and force his way to South Beach, they’ll continue to develop unheralded prospects and hope that a full season of Terry Rozier covers up some of the roster holes that became apparent last year.
